Carmen Electra's had some great success with her aerobic striptease video collection, so now she is moving on to bigger ideas: a portable stripper pole.

"I am so excited to have a new pole coming out, a portable stripper pole. The great thing about my portable pole is you can put it in your own living room or you can do the workout in your bedroom," she said. "No one has to see you do it. It's up to you."

But while her exercise empire is still growing, Carmen wants to continue taking things slow and steady with fiance Rob Patterson, guitarist for Korn.

"All these rumors start and gossip, it's funny. But it could be 10 years. I really want to take it super, super slow."

So don't be looking for Carmen to be rushing to the altar anytime soon. After two failed marriages taking her time sounds almost as genius as her portable poles.

Star magazine recently reported that the nine-month affair that had been going on between the rocker and the face of M.A.C. Cosmetics MAX Factor is on rocky ground. According to the mag:

• Usher - "He won't take anything less than $150K with a private jet," says a New York celebrity booker. "If you don't offer him at least that, don't even bother calling." Well, excuse me.
• William Hung (yeah, that tiny man who sings badly) - Anywhere from $2K-$4K (WHAT?!?!)
• Lindsay Lohan - Anywhere from nothing if you're her friend (she has a lot of friends in the club industry, and so occasionally she'll appear somewhere for free -she's good like that) to $400K, which is what she's getting paid for her upcoming 21st birthday party this July at Pure in Las Vegas. "It's a two-appearance deal," says our anonymous source. "She'll get paid $200K to appear at Pure on her birthday and another $200K to appear at the same club later that year." Rumor has it she's been shopping her celebration around since last December, with an opening bid of $250K.
• Caridee English (who? She won America's Next Top Model last cycle. I'd rather Jaslene.) - She got $3K to host the launch of Runway club in New York but will sometimes get $1K-$2K for smaller things.

At a recent book signing in L.A. for her book entitled, "How to Be Sexy," a photographer recently caught a glimpse of Carmen looking nonplussed/almost annoyed in between takes of posing with a big sexy grin on her face. It's almost as if she's reached the point where she has to take little breaks between maintaining the sexy vivaciousness that is Carmen Electra. I mean, for real, this lady is working at being sexy 24/7, what with the highlights, the make-up, the pole-dancing, the Pussycat Doll stuff--it's a lot of work! Carmen Electra's minions are denying reports that she's tongue-lashing cool badass Joan Jett. That's too bad. That's a really hot potential couple. What the hell does Carmen care anyway? Her ex-husband was always making out with guys. I always thought they were on the omnisexual tip anyway? What's the big deal? Who cares? Well besides the Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff...

Electra's rep tells Usmagazine.com: "They are just friends."

The model/actress split from her hubby of three years Dave Navarro last July and has reportedly been spending a lot of time with the 46-year-old Jett.

But the bond is not romantic, her rep says, adding, "Carmen is in London right now. She is performing in Palm Springs at the Dinah Shore Weekend with her group The Bombshells just as she did last year."

Social Hollywood. What a great spot for a Hollywood fashion show! The Max Factor Salutes Hollywood Fashion Event was an evening to remember...not so much for the clothes, however. The event was to benefit Clothes off our Backs, a non-profit founded by actors Jane Kaczmerek (the mom on Malcolm in the Middle) and Bradley Whitford whose work, along with celebrity and designer friends, helps impoverished children around the world.

It was certainly a star-studded affair. There was a red carpet in front of the humungous Social Hollywood façade; I opted not to walk because nobody would want my picture and that would have made me sad. Instead, after checking in, we walked around the red carpet and ended up standing right next to Miss USA, you know the one who was crying on T.V. In true beauty pageant style she was wearing her Miss USA sash over a teeny tiny blue dress. How tacky! Beauty pageant sashes aside, I was more interested to see what the guests were wearing. The ladies were mostly dressed in party dresses and heals with a few of the 'jeans tucked into boots' look mixed in. The guys were typical in slacks and shirts, nothing special.

You know how you feel when you were a child and you saw all the bright and shiny wrapped gifts under the Christmas Tree, but when you opened your gift, all you got was socks??? Well that's how I felt after attending the Max Factor Salutes Hollywood Fashion Show.

I arrived to Social with one of my partners in crime, Raynard. The red carpet was a little bit more lively than some of the other events I've attended, which in my head, had the makings of a great post.

Once inside, we were placed in a holding area before the show started. To get our minds off the waiting, we were treated to an open bar. While waiting like cattle, much thinner L.A. cattle, I was able to snap a couple of pictures of some of the celebutantes in their natural enviornment. After a few glasses of champagne, mingling with the Hollywood crowd and a video montage of Carmen Electra wearing what seem to be all of the Max Factor makeup at once, it was time for the festivities to begin.
