NYS Parks Winter Run Series 2009

Tuesday December 23, 2008
Avid runners seem not to mind running in any sort of weather. Many, in fact, especially love running when it's cold out. For those of you who fit into that category, the New York State Parks Winter Run Series is coming up next month. There are five races, all on Sundays, that make up this series that is held annually in state parks on Long Island. Here is the race schedule:

  • January 11, 2009: Hecksher State Park
  • January 18: Gov. A.E. Smith/Sunken Meadow
  • January 25: Caumsett State Park
  • February 1: Jones Beach

There is more information and a race application for the Winter Run Series on the Finish Line Road Race Technicians Web Site.
