Wishful thinking ... : I love this picture of the house - it's all I've ever dreamed of for a "white Christmas" but we may never see it here in Central Texas. (posted Dec 16, 10:15pm)

Aww - young love : When Mr. Man saw her, he was overwhelmed with the urge to hug her again, but I could tell she was a little skittish. So, instead, I offered to take their photo. (posted Dec 15, 8:02am)

Children are at the heart of christmas : Miss Thang wanted to help decorate the tree (even though I thought it was "done") and I caught her enjoying rearranging the ornaments. (posted Dec 14, 7:19am)

Tree, tree tree : When I was a child, we'd get out the "snuggle bags" (like sleeping bags, but they snapped at the feet and arms to make a long "coat" of sorts) and we'd sit and just watch the lights in silence. It was a chance to slow down and look at my dad's handiwork in making the tree sparkle. (posted Dec 13, 9:29am)

We wish you a Merry Christmas :) : It's so easy to get caught up in how *I* am feeling, and how things are affecting me - I tend to forget how *I* affect others. (posted Dec 11, 10:37pm)

Dance of the Sugar Plum Fairies : I was never into dance as a little girl. I was much happier playing in the sandbox, climbing trees (or fences) and running around being a spy. It's not that I don't have rhythm - I played piano for a number of years - I just never went to any dance classes. I didn't miss them, either. (posted Dec 10, 10:27pm)

December 9 - it's beginning to feel a lot like winter ... : Call it ice, call it snow, I don't care. I saw snow flurries on the way home tonight from the ASO Messiah concert, and I'm excited! (posted Dec 9, 11:14pm)

Deck the halls with boughs of holly : One of our treasured traditions is our White Elephant Exchange. We have several items that make the rounds every year - for a while it was a bag of dryer lint, then we had a "Christmas scrubby sponge (thanks Jette!)." (posted Dec 8, 11:12pm)

Glory to God in the highest! : David, though, has kept in touch with many of his favorite singers, and in bringing us all back together for this event, I believe he is creating a new outlet for many of the disgruntled former ACC members. (posted Dec 7, 10:49pm)

December 6 - saying goodbye to a friend : She's moving to California for a new job (and hopefully a better chance of meeting the man of her dreams). There were tears, and lots of hugs. (posted Dec 7, 9:01am)

Welcome to Holidailies 2008! : I can't believe this is my third year of participating. I looked back at some of my older posts, and I'd like to believe I've evolved a lot in the last three years. (posted Dec 5, 12:27am)
