My Settings: Keeping your personalized page from changing

Here's how you can stop your personalized News page from changing:

  • If you want to save your settings to your Google Account, always sign in before making changes. It could be that your settings were saved to your computer, but not your Google Account. You also may have selected "Take this page with you," and any changes you made to your personalized News page when you were signed out replaced your previous settings.
  • If you only want to save your settings to your web browser, make sure to enable your browser's cookies. It's possible that you don't have cookies enabled or that you've deleted your cookies altogether.
