Mission Statement: Recruiting & Screening Team

The Marine Security Guard Recruiting and Screening Teams focus is to promote the Marine Security Guard Program throughout the Marine Corps. We also answer questions; provide knowledge and experience about MSG Life. We are here to help the individual Marine start their path for success within the Marine Corps as a Marine Security Guard.

Our Corps is growing and the MSG Program is growing. We have and will continue to post Marines throughout the world at Diplomatic Missions globally. The future of the MSG Program includes new post activations and a new Headquarters. We pride ourselves as being one of the best duties in the Marine Corps.

The benefits of becoming an MSG range from: Top Secret security clearance to accelerated promotions and secondary education opportunities, and of course living overseas at one of our various one hundred and thirty plus U.S. Embassies and Consulates internationally.

Due to the unique mission of a Marine Security Guard, each individual pursuing MSG Duty must be personally screened by a representative from the Recruiting and Screening Team. We are here to help you become a Marine Security Guard.

We travel between every Marine Corps Base throughout the world, take advantage of this unique opportunity by visiting us during our trip. When you visit don’t hesitate to ask questions.

Marine Security Guards have been standing post for nearly sixty years and will continue this Mission for many generations to come. Thousands of Marines have stood post before you. Are you ready? Do you have what it takes to become an “Ambassador in Blue”?

It’s your career grab hold of it!
