David has overall responsibility for the Mozilla Messaging’s operations and strategic direction, but spends much of his time in product design and community building activities as well. David was most recently at ActiveState, where he led the development of a Mozilla-based IDE, and then was CTO/VP Engineering. David combines a business outlook, strong engineering background, and open source expertise. David has a B.Sc. and a Ph.D from Brown University.
