BirdLife Antarctic Programme

BirdLife International currently has no formal Antarctic Programme, but is undertaking to carry out an Antarctic Important Bird Areas inventory.

There are BirdLife Partners for these Antarctic territories: Antarctica, Bouvet Island (to Norway), French Southern Territories, Heard Island and McDonald Islands (to Australia), South Georgia and the South Sandwich Islands (to UK).
