THE Front Porch Country Band, which occupied highest place on the American Country Song Top Ten Billboard last year, will give one concert in the city next month.

The band consists of six seasoned professional musicians with Rick Buck on guitar and drums, Johnny Jolin is lead vocalist and also plays guitar, Joseph Paul is on keyboards and drums, Kim Reichley is another singer who also plays bass, Alison Rupert joins in the singing and plays keyboards and guitar and the band is rounded out with Richard Rupert on acoustic and electric guitars.

The Front Porch Country Band's original American music combines the traditional country music style of country legends Willie Nelson, Johnny Cash and Dolly Parton with a touch of folk influence from The Kingston Trio.

The members' skills shine so brightly that concert listeners have been blown away by their musical abilities and commanding presence, according to the Shanghai Dunhuang Co, the local organizer of the concert.

One week after the September 11 event, The Front Porch Country Band engineered and produced the 9-11 tribute album, "America Standing Tall. The American Trilogy," which went straight into the top-10 and was acclaimed as one of the "historical works" and "the all-time greatest country songs" by critics. The success led the band to sign a series of recording and concert contracts.

The Front Porch Country Band has released many albums including a triple-platinum hit which took them to top place on the American Country Song Top Ten Billboard 2003.
