WalZ was created for the Atari ST series of computers and was distributed by CWest along with a companion program (MasoN) that allowed players to create their own brick layouts. A Windows version was also created, but never released.

The WalZ program for the Atari ST eventually morphed into Breakout 2000 for the Atari Jaguar game console. We had sent a copy of WalZ to some people we knew at Atari and they liked it enough to let us stick our foot into the door a little. Unfortunately, Atari bit the dust before they released the game and it was looking like no-one was ever going to see it. Fortunately, Telegames decided to get involved and have since released Breakout 2000 and a few other Atari Jaguar titles. If you have a Jaguar, follow the link below to the Telegames page. You'll find a lot of good stuff on this site.

Speedster II and Skycopter II are 'Kiddie-rides' created and distributed by Carousel International. If you're a parent of a small child, you know all about kiddie-rides; Every time you go shopping you have to drag your kids past these things. They're in front of almost all the department stores in North America.

L4 Software developed all of the software for these rides. The software not only controlled the mechanical portions of the ride, it also provided a simple game environment and added some video scenery, music and sound effects to make it more interesting. It's not rocket science, but the 3 to 7 year old crowd seem to love it.
