Chicago Blackhawks
Cool as ice on road
Personnel-wise, these are essentially the same Blackhawks who came together during the annual "circus trip" in November, winning the first three of six games over 12 days. Now they're two games into a season-long eight-game, 17-day "ice show trip."
Blackhawks lose 5-2
So much for momentum. The Blackhawks, who kicked off their longest trip of the season with a hard-fought victory over the Ducks in Anaheim on Wednesday night, fell flat 24 hours later.
