A monsoon trough is generating showers and storms across the tropics, heaviest in north QLD near lows. A tropical low off the Kimberley coast is well offshore. A trough in WA is causing storms inland. Very warm easterlies across the interior as a weak front approaches TAS.

Hot northeasterlies over the interior will reach coastal parts of SA and VIC as a trough deepens. The trough will cause isolated storms in WA. Onshore winds on the QLD coast will maintain showers. Tropical lows are likely to generate heavy showers and storms in north WA and QLD.
