Today's Weather A monsoon trough is generating showers and storms across the tropics, heaviest in north QLD near lows. A tropical low off the Kimberley coast is well offshore. A trough in WA is causing storms inland. Very warm easterlies across the interior as a weak front approaches TAS. National Forecast Hot northeasterlies over the interior will reach coastal parts of SA and VIC as a trough deepens. The trough will cause isolated storms in WA.
