TONY Mowbray has revealed Albion have given Curtis Davies permission to speak to Villa.

But the Baggies boss insisted a deal has not yet been done after widespread media reports suggested otherwise.

"We've given Curtis permission to speak to Villa but the deal is not concluded and is ongoing," said Mowbray.

"We'll wait and see if anything gets concluded.

"The bottom line is Curtis hasn't contributed at all for us this season and, if he goes, we'll just get on with what we've been doing."
