Christopher Eccleston

Following his stint as Doctor Who and before joining the cast of the US sci-fi hit Heroes, actor Christopher Eccleston travelled to Banda Aceh, Indonesia, to highlight the British Red Cross’ work in the region following the devastating tsunami.Christopher Eccleston, actor

While in the field he said: “I’m now realising how long and complex a recovery operation like this is. All I can tell you is what I’ve seen – bravery, courage and defiance – which has been very humbling.” Chris hopes to return to see progress made in the not-too-distant future.
