Do you provide transcripts?
Unfortunately we do not have the resources to transcribe our programmes. On the occasion of a full transcript being available, we will post it on our website.

Is it possible to purchase copies of the programme?
Unfortunately, we are unable to offer this service.

Where and when is HARDtalk shown in the UK?
HARDtalk is broadcast on BBC News on Mondays, Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Fridays at 4.30am and 11.30pm.

Where and when is HARDtalk shown overseas?
HARDtalk is broadcast Monday to Thursday on BBC World News. Please visit the BBC World News website for details of how to subscribe to the channel and transmission times in your region.

What happens if a programme is not available for viewing on the website?
From time to time, due to extended news coverage or breaking stories, there may be a delay in getting our programme streamed -- please check back later as we will always attempt to provide a stream where we can. Very occasionally, copyright issues may mean a programme is not available for online access.

I loved an interview you did but can't remember the guest's name -- how can I find out more?
Please contact us at hardtalk@bbc.co.uk and we will try and supply more information. Please note: we cannot pass on contact details for our guests.

Why don't you publish a list of previous interviews?
Over the ten years that HARDtalk has been on air, we've recorded more than 2000 interviews! Unfortunately we are not able to publish a full list, but all of our programmes since 2001 should be on the website.

How can I access old interviews on the web?
Please use the "search" box on the right hand side of the page. Enter the name of the guest you are looking for, for example: 'Shimon Peres'. This should then find the relevant story.

Can you tell me about job opportunities/work experience?

Why has my comment not been published or read out on air?
We cannot publish all comments that we receive due to the volume sent. However, we aim to publish a good cross-section of the views we receive.

Why has my comment been edited?
The BBC is responsible for all the comments broadcast or published on the site. Therefore, we have to remove any libellous or potentially libellous statements from messages. We also aim to publish as many comments as possible, and will sometimes shorten statements to make it easier for users to read as many different views as possible.

Do you provide a podcast or a broadband stream of your programme?
Unfortunately at this time we cannot offer a podcast or an embedded broadband stream of our programme. We hope to be able to provide this at some time in the future! What software do I need to access the stream of your programmes?
You will need the latest version of RealPlayer, which you can download at the RealPlayer website.

I've found a broken link or a mistake on your website! What should I do?
Oops, sorry! Please contact us at hardtalk@bbc.co.uk and we'll endeavour to fix it as soon as possible!

What is Extra Time?
Extra Time is another programme from the HARDtalk stable. It features interviews with top sports personalities and it is presented by one of the BBC's best-known sportscasters, Rob Bonnet. It is only broadcast on BBC World News- please check the BBC World News website for details.
