Gallery of vintage Electrohome tube amplifiers (PA-100 and more)

I’ve collected a number of high-end, vintage tube amps over the years: McIntosh, Leak TL/12 Point One, Western Electric and more.

Here’s my homage to the Dominion Electrohome company who set up shop not more than 5 miles away from where I sit today. Let’s start things off with a bang and show an example that’s rarely seen and one that I have not found in any of the online image galleries.

All pictures shown were taken by me and represent amps I’ve personally owned.

Probably the most famous of all the tube amps made by Electrohome: the PA-100 featured a Williamson spec Partridge WWFB output transformer and KT66 outputs. This is the only PA-100 I’ve owned and go figure it was with the rarest of color variants too. Serial number 534706. I’ve seen plenty of the beige and gold versions - but not chrome. Very rare and to the best of my knowledge there aren’t any pictures of one posted in a public forum like this…..so enjoy.

Gorgeous little amp: dual 6V6 outputs with a 6SN7 preamp stage. I’ve had 2 or 3 of these over the years but always singles - never had a pair working in tandem but I bet they would’ve sounded sweet.

Another neat little preamp though fairly common - this one comes with three 12AX7 stages plus inputs for tape, TV and radio. Also has some contouring abilities and separate Bass / Treble pots.
