CLEVELAND -- There's one traffic headache that was eased Monday. It will now be a lot quicker and more efficient to get from Interstate 77 to the Ohio Turnpike in northeast Ohio. The new I-77 Interchange at Gate 11 on the border of Cuyahoga and Summit counties opened just after 11 a.m. Monday. It opened with major fanfare and ribbon-cutting ceremony. Motorists had never been able to directly access I-77 from the turnpike. Approximately 5 million drivers used the interchange last year.
