AVMA Congressional Science and Executive Branch Fellowships
The AVMA's Congressional Science and Executive Branch Fellowships offer veterinarians the opportunity to spend a year in Washington, D.C. working in the federal government as a scientific resource. |

AVMA student externships
The AVMA is offering $1,000 stipends for the 2009 calendar year for up to ten veterinary students to spend four weeks in Washington, D.C. as externs. Selected externs will have a unique opportunity to observe the veterinary profession from an "inside the beltway" perspective. |
