The United Nations Fund for Population Activities(UNFPA) has donated seven new Daelim motorbikes to the Cook Islands Ministry of Health's Public Health Services.
The motorbikes including helmets are to assist public health nurses visit the community for mother and child health activities. It will also help with school visitations.
According to Director of Clinical Services Dr Aumea Hermann, UNFPA 's continued assistance with vehicles and helmets are greatly appreciated.
She says the organisation has been providing vehicles in the country since 1976.
