CASE FOR MAN WHO KILLED TUAN ADJOURNED

The case of the man who caused the death of Tuan Areai on May 11 in a motor vehicle collision was adjourned yesterday and will be held on July 5 2007. He has been given name suppression until then.

The adjournment was due to an arguement between prosecution and defense counsel about the terms of name suppression, bail and adjournment.

Tuan passed away two days after being involved in the motorbike collision.

Police charged the man with driving while under the influence of alcohol to the point where he was unable to control his vehicle.

The man has pleaded not guilty!
