Madonna - Sorry review

If there's one thing that Madonna needs to know, it's that spoken word interludes (and varieties thereof eg. ropey rap attempts and Kabballah chants), unless they have something funny to say, or at least an interesting way of saying it, are completely, totally uncool. Hearing her enunciating "I'm sorry" in a variety of languages on this second Confessions On A Dancefloor single, therefore, is a deeply cringe-inducing experience. Presumably she wanted to make this euro-dance number even more, well, euro, but producer Stuart Price should have told her to can it and stick to the script. Anyway, with that off our chests, we're happy to say that Sorry is otherwise a solid and fairly infectious combo of pumping, filtered synths and disco beats which is destined to top the charts with ease.
