Before 1942 Season: Signed by the St. Louis Cardinals as an amateur free agent.

June 14, 1956: Traded by the St. Louis Cardinals with a player to be named later, Jackie Brandt, Dick Littlefield and Bill Sarni to the New York Giants for a player to be named later, Alvin Dark, Ray Katt, Don Liddle and Whitey Lockman. The St. Louis Cardinals sent Gordon Jones (October 1, 1956) to the New York Giants to complete the trade.

June 15, 1957: Traded by the New York Giants to the Milwaukee Braves for Ray Crone, Danny O'Connell and Bobby Thomson.

October 14, 1960: Released by the Milwaukee Braves.

March 15, 1961: Signed as a Free Agent with the St. Louis Cardinals.

October 24, 1961: Released by the St. Louis Cardinals.

Before 1962 Season: Signed as a Free Agent with the St. Louis Cardinals.
