March: Devin Harris
New Jersey Nets guard Devin Harris has been honored with the NBA's Community Assist Award for March. Harris is active with the Make-A-Wish Foundation and Big Brothers Big Sisters.

February: Sam Dalembert
Philadelphia 76ers center Sam Dalembert has been honored with the NBA's Community Assist Award for February. Dalembert continues to support kids and families with UNICEF's work in his native Haiti.

January: Dwight Howard
Orlando Magic center Dwight Howard has been honored with the NBA's Community Assist Award for January. “Whenever I get the opportunity to do something to help others, I run to it,” said Howard.

December: Peja Stojakovic
New Orleans Hornets guard Peja Stojakovic has been honored with the NBA's Community Assist Award for December. His foundation assists underprivileged children and families both domestically and internationally.

November: Jason Terry
Dallas Mavericks guard Jason Terry has been honored with the NBA's Community Assist Award for November. "It’s such a privilege to be a part of the Dallas community that I love so much," said Terry.

October: Amar'e Stoudemire
Phoenix Suns forward Amar'e Stoudemire has been honored with the NBA's Community Assist Award for October. Stoudemire donated $50,000 to fund the rehabilitation of water wells in Sierra Leone.

September: Chris Paul
New Orleans Hornets point guard Chris Paul has been honored with the NBA's Community Assist Award for September. Paul recently hosted his annual charity weekend, which featured eight community events.

August: Charlie Villanueva
Milwaukee Bucks forward Charlie Villanueva has been honored with the NBA's Community Assist Award for August. Villanueva recently distributed 10,000 pairs of shoes to children in the Dominican Republic.

July: Alonzo Mourning
Miami HEAT center Alonzo Mourning has been honored with the NBA's Community Assist Award for July. Mourning recently hosted his annual event that raises money to support educational programs in Miami.

June: LeBron James
Cleveland Cavaliers forward LeBron James has been honored with the NBA's Community Assist Award for June. James recently hosted third annual “King for Kids Bike-A-Thon,” which raised more than $150,000.

May: Mike Miller
Memphis Grizzlies forward Mike Miller has been honored with the NBA's Community Assist Award for May. Miller and his family recently donated $200,000 to the Grizzlies House at St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.

April: Kevin Garnett
Boston Celtics forward Kevin Garnett has been honored with the NBA's Community Assist Award for April. Garnett created "The Big Ticket Challenge," having children declare to improve their school performance.

March: Stephen Jackson
Golden State Warriors forward Stephen Jackson has been honored with the NBA's Community Assist Award for March. Jackson has been active in the Oakland community since arriving in January 2007.

February: Al Horford
Atlanta Hawks rookie Al Horford has been honored with the NBA's Community Assist Award for February. Horford supports various Hispanic youth groups through his own initiative, Al's Amigos.

January: Tracy McGrady
Tracy McGrady of the Houston Rockets has received the Community Assist Award for January. McGrady's “Stand Up for Darfur” humanitarian project pledges $75,000 to the building of a school in Chad.

December: Dirk Nowitzki
Dallas Mavericks forward Dirk Nowitzki has been awarded the Community Assist Award for December. Nowitzki regularly meets with sick or terminally ill children after home games.

November: Chris Duhon
Chicago Bulls guard Chris Duhon has been awarded the Community Assist Award for November. An active community ambassador, Duhon is donating $100,000 to construct basketball courts in Louisiana.

October: Jamal Crawford
New York Knicks guard Jamal Crawford won the NBA's Community Assist Award for October, as he unveiled a newly created full-service and state-of-the-art library in the Bronx, N.Y.

September: Emeka Okafor
Charlotte Bobcats forward Emeka Okafor won the Community Assist Award for September for his efforts as spokesperson for the One Million African Lives initiative among other endeavors.

August: Dwyane Wade
Miami Heat guard Dwyane Wade won the Community Assist Award for August. Among his numerous efforts, Wade hosted seven community outreach initiatives during the month of August.

July: Dwight Howard
In recognition of Dwight Howard’s outstanding efforts in the community and for his ongoing philanthropic work, the NBA has honored the Orlando Magic center with the Community Assist Award for July.

June: Caron Butler
Washington Wizards forward Caron Butler won the NBA's Community Assist Award for June in recognition of his community outreach focused on youth in Washington D.C. and his hometown of Racine, Wisconsin.
