Andy Hodgson is our most experienced host. He’s been onscreen since our first day and has shown thousands of products to millions of viewers.

Over the years he’s co-hosted bid tv with Judith Chalmers, Tara Parker Tompkinson, Paul Ross, Linda Baker, Antony Worral Thompson, James Whale and Aldo Zilli. He’s appeared as a guest on Rise, The Big Breakfast, Born Sloppy and numerous radio stations as well as a cameo role on BBC One show Time Trumpet.

He's sold everything from a chance to have your chest-hair waxed by Danni Minogue to a flight in outer space.

Prior to bid tv, you may have seen Andy on Sky Sports News or heard him on the wireless. He's hosted numerous radio shows on BBC Radio Five Live, BBC Radio Scotland, BBC Radio York, BBC North, Century Radio, LBC, Star FM and The Eagle to name but a few!

His radio background has covered everything from commentary on Prince Edward’s wedding to football phone-in’s.

Andy even helped launch an internet radio station for The Guardian Media Group before "bidding-up" to become one of our multi-talented auctioneers in 2000.
