Air Transport Auxiliary
In 1980 the Hoover Institution Archives became a repository for the Air Transport Auxiliary records. Since then it has continued to acquire materials related to the ATA and presently has three collections relating to this subject.
Diane Ravitch Papers
Diane Ravitch, policy analyst and education historian, donated her papers to the Hoover Archives. Ravitch's papers contain the original manuscript of her book Left Back: A Century of Failed School Reforms (2000); when working on it she used the Paul Hanna Collection at the Hoover Archives.
Leo Eloesser: A Doctor in the World
Through a generous donation from Joyce Campbell, the Hoover Institution Archives acquired a collection of materials documenting the life of Dr. Leo Eloesser, whose remarkable career took him to many countries on humanitarian missions and whose interest in the arts led to friendships with such celebrated figures as Diego Rivera and Frida Kahlo.
Survey of Race Relations
This digital collection documents the social and economic status of Chinese, Japanese, Mexicans, and other minority residents of the Pacific Coast of the United States and Canada, and to race relations on the Pacific Coast, in the 1920s.
Juan Domingo Perón Papers
The papers consist largely of correspondence between Peron and his lieutenants, both those in Argentina and those forced, like their leader, to live abroad.
