Stuart Graham drove the perfect race at Silverstone on Sunday to win the Access RAC Tourist Trophy. Pacing his Chevrolet Camaro just right, he inherited the lead when Richard Lloyd's sister Camaro made its first stop and stayed out front for the rest of the 313 mile race. By coming second, Vince Woodman and Jonathan Buncombe assured the Simoniz Team of the valuable team prize, for Lloyd and his partner Jac Nelleman came eighth despite brake troubles after leading the first part of the event. Star of the race, however, was Tony Dean in one of Ralph Broad's Dolomites, who after a long chase beat Barrie Williams' Mazda for their class and for third place as a result of superior pit work. In fact, as Peter Hanson's Opel won the 4-litre class, Broad had a hand in the preparation of three of the I four class winners.
