"Ecopath 25 years: conference and workshops" is aiming to provide an overview of 25 years of progress using the Ecopath approach in different fields: fisheries management, ecosystem comparisons, spatial analyses, climate impacts, and ecosystem-based management as well as to introduce the new or under development exciting features. The gathering is intended to be an international scientific reunion on ecosystem modelling using the software Ecopath and Ecosim (EwE).
We wish you a fruitful stay in Vancouver and a very exciting week at the “Ecopath 25 Years - Conference and Workshops” event!

This workshop will introduce participants to the new version of EwE, version 6. For details and registration please follow this link.
Registration Fees:
Four, half-day specialized workshops will introduce applications of EwE version 6. Registration Fees for attending the workshops are:
These workshops will focus on spatial optimizations, economic modeling, interoperability and plug-ins, and EwE for decision support. Follow these instructions to register to any of the workshops II.
Following the Ecopath 25 years conference and workshops, the UBC Fisheries Centre is hosting a two-day technical consultation on model coupling and interoperability. The consultation will aim to define specific frameworks for connecting EwE6 with other models, such as hydrographic, NPZD, and climate models, notably Atlantis and GOTM-BFM.
Participation is very limited and intended for specialists actively working with model coupling. If you are interested in participating, please contact Villy Christensen.
