Ox-Tales book covers: Earth, Air, Water and Fire

Introducing Ox-Tales, four volumes of short stories, featuring 38 of the UK’s top authors, soon to be published to raise money for Oxfam's work around the world. Available at Oxfam shops and all good bookstores across the UK from 4 July and published by Profile Books, each features original stories from writers including John le Carré, Alexander McCall Smith, Jeanette Winterson, Ian Rankin, Mark Haddon, Marina Lewycka, Jonathan Coe, Rose Tremain, DBC Pierre, Sebastian Faulks and Kate Atkinson.

The Ox-Tales volumes are themed around four elements, representing different aspects of Oxfam's work: EARTH (from land rights to farming): AIR (combating climate change): FIRE (campaigning for arms control), and WATER (safe water and sanitation).
