Welcome to Nomi City

Nomi City is situated approximately in the center of the Kaga plains in south Ishikawa Prefecture.  It is 20km southwest of the prefecture capital Kanzawa and boarders with Komatsu City.  The Tedori river which flows from the 2702 meter high Hakusan mountain, together with Kakehashi river from the southeast forms a delta in which Nomi city is located.  To the west the beautiful Sea of Japan coastline runs across the city while to the southeast the breathtaking Hakusan mountain scenery lines the horizon.  This city is truly blessed with “ Sea, Mountains and Rivers.”
