NB: Until further notice, the museum is not accepting any aircraft technical manuals.

The Aero Space Museum archives supports the mission of the museum by acquiring and preserving for public and curatorial use documentary materials regarding aviation in Western Canada. These span from early flight in Calgary to present day and include a wide range of visual and textual materials.

We encourage researchers to contact us by mail or email first to determine what materials we have that will be useful to their interests. Archive staff will make a limited search of the holdings in response to inquiries. More complex research will require a visit to the archives by researchers.

Copies of documents, technical drawings and photographs from the archive collection are available for a fee.

Copyright:
Images from the ASMAC website are subject to museum copyright restrictions. Usage requires prior written permission from the museum. Should you wish to use ASMAC still images in any medium, please request permission by contacting the archives at 403-250-3752

Visitors

Visiting the Archives:
Researchers must make appointments for visits.

Please call for an appointment as far in advance of your planned visit as possible as space is limited.

Photocopiers are available for a fee to researchers.

Notebook computers may be used in the reading room; the use of additional computer equipment, such as scanners or copy cameras is prohibited.
