After a 4 million pound refit Redditch’s historic Edwardian Theatre opens its doors to the public with a feast of fabulous entertainment.  As one of only six working theatres left in the country that can be wholly attributed to its famous architect Bertie Crewe its heritage and pedigree makes the Palace, architecturally a theatre of national importance.

Equipped to the highest standard and seating 425, luxuriate in the new, light and airy foyers, enjoy an interval drink in the comfy bar lounge then be whisked back in time to the glories of the Edwardian era as you take your seat in the beautifully redecorated auditorium.

The Palace Theatre welcomes all visitors, regardless of disability or mobility problems. Guide Dogs are admitted into all public areas of the building including our auditoria.  There is a lift to all front of house areas, main auditorium and studio. There are 10 wheelchair spaces in the auditorium, 8 in the stalls and 2 in the circle. Toilets for disabled patrons are available on all levels of the theatre.  There is an induction loop system in the auditorium and box office areas for the use of hearing impaired patrons

The Palace Theatre is home to the Palace Youth Theatre as well as to the popular local operatic and dramatic societies who perform there during the year.

You can now request seats by email at info.centre@redditchbc.gov.uk.  Please make sure to leave your phone number with your ticket request so our box office staff can contact you.
