EONA ADRaudio products demonstration, prepared by ON STAGE :
ADR audio delivers impressively natural sound, and doesn’t bow to to trends and fashion - no digital crutches, only carefully selected components put together with exceptional skill.
But that's easy for us to say……let's put it to the test:
We hereby have the pleasure of inviting you and your colleagues to a thorough demonstration of the ADR audio range of speakers.
Sunday, September 16th 2007, 9.00 to 14.00 we have the pleasure of providing a complete solution for the Red Cross Vandløbet at Christiansborg slotsplads. Here, you will have the opportunity to hear, for instance, the L2821 small line array and ATA118HH subwoofers with live music, among others Ida Corr, in front of approximately 8000 happy people. You will find us at FOH, where we will be more than happy to answer any questions you might have. You can read more about Vandløbet at www.vandloebet.dk.
Monday, September 17th 2007, 12.00 to 18.00 you can get hands-on and in-depth with the systems. We will hold a thorough demonstration at Den Rytmiske Højskole, Jyderupvej 18, 4560 Vig (If you come from Jutland, there is easy ferry connection via Århus - Odden.)
You will have the opportunity to hear virtually the entire program in its natural surroundings. We will demonstrate the L2821 line array outdoors, and the remainder of the program indoors. On both days, R&D Manager Ales Dravinec and product specialist/director of Scandinavian sales, Erik Dam will be present.
Ales Dravinec will talk about the products and the philosophy behind them, and go in depth regarding the use of small line arrays. No matter if you own one, uses one or considering one, you can be sure to leave a good deal wiser than you came!
Among the visitors, pro-audio people from several European countries are expected, so it will be a really interesting day. Given the international visitors, some of the presentation will be held in English.
On monday the School's excellent kitchen will make sure that no one listens on an empty stomach.
Additional information regarding Monday demonstration will be provided by ON STAGE.

…”The stream” is all about water - or more correctly, the lack of the same in Africa...
About half of the huge continent doesn't have access to pure water, and therefore 5.000 African children die every single day of diseases like ordinary diarrhea, typhoid fever and cholera.
Diseases, which are spread due to bad drinking water, can be prevented by building wells and latrines and establishing basic health clinics.
The full income of the first three years from “the Stream” is intended to improve the conditions in Malawi, one of the most hardly hit areas in Africa.
EONA ADRaudio is honored to be invited to participate in “The Stream”.
Complete sound reinforcement system for the main event area will be provided and set up by ON STAGE using carefully chosen EONA ADRaudio self powered loudspeakers for the application. Altogether, more than 8.000 people are expected to attend…

EONA ADRaudio equipment could be found at 3 of the 5 stages at this year's Starscape Festival in Baltimore, MD. The sub-culture influenced dance-music heavy festival draws tens of thousands of enthusiasts from around the world to hear famous DJs, national and regional live bands, and enjoy a night out under the stars. Total Audio out of Montreal, Canada was the primary provider again this year and, having recently discovered EONA ADRaudio speakers, asked Director of North American Sales Bennett Prescott to load up a truck and show what the gear was made of.
The 6,000 square foot (560 square meter) Drum N' Bass tent was the primary showcase for the equipment, with two ATA 618C HH high-output cardioid subwoofers, three L 2821 HH line array elements per side, and U 103 HH sidefills with ATA 118 HH sidefill subs. Audix Microphones and a Radial JPC handled the interface with the DJs, mixing was done side-stage on an Allen & Heath MixWizard with speaker processing handled by dbx Driverack series processors.
"This was a real trial-by-fire for the equipment," said Mr. Prescott, "we needed about 130 feet (40 meters) of throw from the mains and achieved that easily, the system stayed crisp and clear even outside the tent, I walked twice that distance away before the landscape simply obstructed the sound from the mains. The line array threw a lot further and went a lot louder than I was expecting it to, everyone was very impressed." That extra capacity would come in handy later, after the 14 hour long event started the demand for low frequency energy on the dance floor exceeded 120dB below 80Hz. The line array had plenty of capacity, but the main subwoofers were being worked harder than expected, and the sidefill subwoofers spent most of the night in hard limit. "I was glad I'd brought this well protected equipment, the High Headroom concept allows the speakers to sound dynamic even in heavy limiting, but I didn't have to worry about the DJs blowing anything up" added Mr. Prescott.
The Beach Stage and the Steez Promo Stage also featured EONA ADRaudio speakers, with 6 mixes of M 1225 HH monitors and 2 U 103 HH general purpose loudspeakers, respectively. Those two stages went without incident the entire night, even through light thundershowers and some periods of hard use from the acts performing. Tom Manchester, the engineer for both stages, said "Using the ADRaudio wedges helped a great deal especially when dealing with 2 stages. I didn't have to worry about setting gains, clipping amps, or signifigant feedback issues. They were practically plug and play. One band took the stage without a proper sound check and during their performance I began to take the lead singer's monitor mix up a bit. He pointed and asked me to turn his mix down a bit. I'm always glad to have a wedge that doesn't flake out early!"
EONA ADRaudio looks forward to providing again next year, for the Starscape Festival's 10th anniversary.
