Ian Brown has announced full details of his fifth solo album, which is released in Ireland on September 21.

Entitled, The World Is Yours, Brown says this is the record he intended that would "bury everything else I've ever done".

The album will be preceded on September 14 by the single 'Illegal Attacks', which features Sinéad O'Connor.

The track is one of two appearances O'Connor makes on the record.

Brown also collaborated with two sets of producers - Black Ops and Emile - and recorded the album at various studios in London with Brown travelling to Windmill Lane studios in Ireland to record 'Illegal Attacks' and 'Some Folks Are Hollow' with O'Connor.

Ex-Smiths bassist Andy Rourke and Ex-Happy Mondays star Paul Ryder contribute on bass.

Ex-Sex Pistols guitarist Steve Jones appears on guitar on two tracks ('Sister Rose' and 'Me and You Forever') and Paul Cook (also Ex-Sex Pistols) appears on drums on the same tracks 'Sister Rose' and 'Me And You Forever'.
