Again

Posted last night but…where’d it go?
So, if you haven’t heard yet, the album title is “Beggars.”
I released this comment in a press-release.

“I think we are at most times deluded in thinking that we are totally responsible for our circumstances, but in the end almost everything is beyond our control to a high degree and we can’t even be sure we will wake up tomorrow. Whether you believe that God created you for a purpose, or that the world is governed by blind chance, everything in life is a gift at its core; we are beggars all.”

Also, a lot of people have been asking about the artwork. It is currently being created by our friend Nathan Warkentin, who has worked on stuff for us in the past in partnership with Matt Maust of Cold War Kids fame. The stuff he’s been showing us looks awesome! Also, he is in a great band called “We Barbarians.” Check them out.

    Dustin -

thank you SO much for bringing in your thoughts and clarifying that quote. i figured you left it ambiguous on purpose, but it’s amazing that you took the time to help us out.

    @ Holly,

Yeah this board is kind of a community now, which is pretty sweet!

I guess my life is a testimony of God’s grace. Without His great love (and love for all!), I’d be nothing and would just waste my life away. Man, lukewarm living sucks, but “to breathe in fire, and know I’m free” is amazing!

    I AGREE!

Lots of thinking and questioning going on here. It’s good to see people can maturely throw ideas around with each other.

Happy Father’s Day to Teppei, Dustin, and all the other dads here! :]

@Bryson- Oh haha thanks for clearing that up. I was kind of confused about how it could have possibly leaked already. I wish I could delete my post now… haha

DK - Thanks for being interactive and thoughtful.

Can’t wait for the new album. I really hope it didn’t leak. I have heard that files get passed around during the mastering process, but seeing as Thrice has actually produced this album and is having a friend master it, I doubt the alleged leaks are true (I hope they are not!).

I am agnostic and what I love most about Thrice is no matter what you may believe they still have a beautiful message behind what they do.
