How you can easily cool down and prevent excessive wear and tear of your laptop computer with laptop lifts.

As you may know, heat is one of the main enemies of computer hardware. For that reason it is nice to have some external cooling especially in the case of laptops.

These rubber grips, called laptop lifts are one of the handy ways to fight the excessive heat and protect your computer.

This should not take you more than couple of minutes, so without further ado, let´s get going.

Difficulty: Easy

Things You'll Need:

  • Laptop computer
  • Laptop lifts
  1. Step 1

Take the laptop lifts out of their package and turn your laptop upside down.

  2. Step 2

Place the longer lifts on sides of your laptop´s bottom, grip side downward and place the smaller ones in the middle. This step is important for the balance of your laptop.

  3. Step 3

Voila. Now you have grips on the bottom of your laptop increasing the airflow thus keeping the machine cool. That extra space also prevents scratches and scuffing from rough platforms.
