The Meaning Of Revelation

Meaning of The Book of Revelation

The Jewish Evangelists

When Jesus set up his Church on Earth, this Church was primarily composed of Jews and proselytes to Judaism.  For example, the Twelve Apostles were born Jewish, (except possibly for Luke).

Nevertheless, since the Jewish people as a nation continued to reject Jesus as their Messiah, the Gospel ("Good News") of Jesus was then given to the Gentiles (non-Jews).  This did not mean, however,  that God had completely finished with the Jews:

"I say then, Hath God cast away his people? God forbid." (Romans 11:1)

"For I would not, brethren, that ye should be ignorant of this mystery, lest ye should be wise in your own conceits;  that blindness in part is happened to Israel, until the fullness of the Gentiles be come in.  And so all Israel shall be saved..." (Romans 11:25-26)

A great spiritual awakening will occur among the Jews during the seven year Great Tribulation period, after the Christians have all been "Raptured" (caught up) to be with Jesus in Heaven:

"Behold, I shew you a mystery;  We shall not all sleep, but we shall all be changed, In a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trump: for the trumpet shall sound, and the dead shall be raised incorruptible, and we shall be changed." (1 Corinthians 15:51-52)

When the Christians are safely up in Heaven with Jesus, God will then pour out His judgments upon a sinful and Christ-rejecting world.  As the Antichrist gains power over the world, the Great Roman Catholic Whore will help him to murder  (by beheading) any previously lost churchgoers. These churchgoers will include others who had been "Left Behind" at The Rapture of Christians into Heaven  who will have become saved since The Rapture.

The Antichrist will then turn his attention upon the Jews; and he will try to exterminate all of them, (much as Hitler once tried to do during WWII with his "Final Solution" to the "Jewish Problem").  The next Holocaust, though, will be even worse than that one under Hitler.  In fact, during this next Holocaust, it appears that two thirds of all Jews will be killed.  Those who survive this Holocaust which will come in the future, will then all turn to Christ and be saved:

"And it shall come to pass, that in all the land, saith the LORD, two parts therein shall be cut off and die;  but the third shall be left therein.  And I will bring the third part through the fire, and will refine them as silver is refined, and will try them as gold is tried:  they shall call on my name, and I will hear them:  I will say, It is my people:  and they shall say, The LORD is my God." (Zachariah 13:8-9)

God will raise up among these saved Jews 144,000 evangelists to spread the Gospel of Christ throughout the world.  These Jews will be "sealed" by God in their foreheads:

"And I heard the number of them which were sealed: and there were sealed an hundred and forty and four thousand of all the tribes of the children of Israel." (Revelation 7:4)

Satan will hate these 144,000 Jewish Evangelists.  Satan will also hate other Jews who will flee into the wilderness, (probably near the area called Petra), in order to escape from being exterminated in this coming Holocaust.  (See: Revelation 12:13-14)  All of these 144,000 Jewish evangelists will love Jesus with a pure heart, and will follow Jesus wherever He should lead them to go.  (Jesus and the Bible will always come first to these Jews):

"These are they which were not defiled with women;  for they are virgins.  These are they which follow the Lamb whithersoever he goeth.  These were redeemed from among men, being the firstfruits unto God and to the Lamb.  And in their mouth was found no guile:  for they are without fault before the throne of God." (Revelation 14:4-5)

"And they overcame him by the blood of the Lamb, and by the word of their testimony;  and they loved not their lives unto the death." (Revelation 12:11)

Please notice from the above Bible verses the following facts:

(1) These Jewish Evangelists will trust the blood of Christ, the blood which Jesus took with Him up into Heaven when He died.  (They will not therefore be so-called "MacArthurites").

(2) These Jewish Evangelists will follow Jesus Himself.  The will not  simply follow a mere man as some kind of Baptist "Pope" attempting to usurp the rightful place and authority of Jesus among His people.

(3) These Jewish Evangelists will have hearts of "virgins" -- in that they will not put their families or other affections before their love for Christ.

(4) These Jewish Evangelists will not speak lies.

(5) These Jewish Evangelists will be truly converted rather than religious-but-lost nominal "Christians".

(6) These Jewish Evangelists will proclaim their testimonies boldly, not letting lukewarm pastors or others "correct them" or "threaten them" that they must "repent" of their hotness for Christ.

(7) These Jewish Evangelists will not be afraid to live for Christ nor will they be afraid to die for Christ either.  (It appears that all of these 144,000 Jewish Evangelists will eventually have their blood shed as martyrs for Christ.)

How different these 144,000 Jewish evangelists will be when compared with today's lukewarm Christians and preachers!

Because these 144,000 Jewish evangelists will be "radical" and "sold-out" for Christ, they will quickly evangelize the whole world in a very short time.  Although these evangelists will be beheaded or otherwise killed by the Antichrist, their spiritual fruit of souls saved for Christ will probably number into the millions.

Nevertheless, these Evangelists, (and those saved under their ministries), will be killed by the Antichrist and therefore they will go directly into the presence of Almighty God to ever be with their Beloved, Jesus Christ:

"After this I beheld, and, lo, a great multitude, which no man could number, of all nations, and kindreds, and people, and tongues, stood before the throne, and before the Lamb, clothed with white robes, and palms in their hands.  And one of the elders answered, saying unto me, What are these which are arrayed in white robes?  and whence came they?  And I said unto him, Sir, thou knowest.  And he said to me, These are they which came out of great tribulation, and have washed their robes, and made them white in the blood of the Lamb." (Revelation 7:9,13-14)
