Andrew ("War") Reagan and the American Civil War -- Research has finally paid off with details of
his service and in what battle he was wounded and the significance
of that battle.
The Death of William L. (Brack) Mitchell -- H.C. Mitchell's grandfather was a deputy sheriff
in Eskota, Texas, when he was gunned down by a man he was taking

Reagan Is Bicen "Builder" in Big Spring -- A "life story" of Pop article I wrote
that appeared in the Sunday, Nov. 16, 1975, edition of the Big
Spring Herald.
"War's
Last Summer" -- A feature I wrote for the Abilene Reporter-News
a couple of years ago based on the letters my mother and father
exchanged during the war.
"Memories of a mother who was always there" -- Article I wrote that appeared on the front page
of the Abilene Reporter-News on Sunday, May 12, 1985 (Mother's
Day) ... a few months after Mom died.
"A Sense of Backie" -- The remembrance I wrote about Dad that appeared
on the pew pamphlet at his funeral service at the Rosewood Chapel
in Big Spring, Monday, March 9, 1992, at 4:00 p.m.
A Case of
the "re-re attacks"
-- Column Steve wrote about his father
shortly after he died in the spring of 1992.
