XPLOSION MATCHES
*Motorcity Machineguns defeated Lethal Consequences when Shelley pinned Creed following a frog splash.

*Lethal is now being billed from Tampa, FL*

*Dr Stevie w/Daffney defeated Cody Deaner w/ODB via submission. Stevie used a Cobra Clutch to get the win.

Opening of iMPACT!
Taz comes out to the ring to kick off iMPACT! With a microphone in hand. He says years ago, he used to wrestle for a company called ECW and during that time he sustained career threatening injuries and prevented him from what he loved to do best and that's perform for the fans. He called 100's of matches for WWE and some of Wrestlemania's greatest matches as a color commentator. He said he knew there was more he could do and he saw TNA..he saw Samoa Joe...he said they had a lot of similarities but Joe showed remorse..where he was unable to do that. He had a talk with Joe..he told him its not about doing what makes people happy..its about what wins titles and makes money. He became the teacher, Joe became the student. He says he & Joe are indebted to Kurt Angle and the prestigious MEM.

Tonight, he says, Joe will add more gold..and that's the TNA X Division title..and he's got a message for Homicide..."beat Joe if you can, survive if he lets you." Samoa Joe's music hits and he comes out to the ring for his match.

*X Division Title Match - Homicide defeated Samoa Joe via DQ.
Joe hit the ref, locked in the Tazmission on Homicide and postmatch, continued to beat down on Homicide as ordered by Taz. Mexican music hit & a new video for Hernandez played as he ran down to the ring to aid his LAX partner. Joe stood in the corner with his arms crossed as Hernandez made his way into the ring. He's lost a noticeable amount of weight & looks great. Taz & Joe walked off as Hernandez checked on Homicide.

The Main Event Mafia come out to the ring. Kurt Angle addresses what went down at Victory Road. He wants to put everyone in the back at ease and no one is getting fired. He is a compassionate guy. He says TNA needs the MEM. And tonight for the fans, he has a present for them all. Nash, Booker & Steiner are all going to put their titles on the line for their entertainment. Jarrett is home, Sting is 1000's of miles away licking his wounds, so only there is Mick Foley to attend to.

Foley comes out to the ring he said that Kurt made him tap out after he said it would never happen. He was ready to go home until he heard Angle was messing with the front office and saying that there would be no TNA without MEM. He admits they all dropped the ball last night and maybe he ran out of gas last night...and that with Kurt as a 13 time Champ, knows what its like on 12 occasions how to have a bad day. Angle says Foley reminds him of an old dog and a dog needs a master...says he could be his master..gives him the name Old Tapper. He says if it wasn't for him & Joe outsmarting him, Foley would still be TNA Champion. Angle says he's the man and could kick Foley's ass right now, but won't do that cause he wants one last thing from him. He pulls out a set of keys, they are the keys to Mick Foley's office. He says they are gonna hang them up high on a pole for a match tonight.

*TNA Legends Title Match - Kevin Nash w/Jenna Morasca defeated Amazing Red.

10 Man Tag Match: Doug Williams, Brutus Magnus, Rob Terry, Kiyoshi & Sheik Abdul Bashir defeated Beer Money, Daniels, AJ Styles & Eric Young when Magnus pinned Styles. Styles went for the Styles Clash while everyone was brawling on the outside, Young tapped Styles on the shoulder & gave him a piledriver allowing Magnus to get the pin. He then posed with the Invasion in the ring.

*TNA Tag Title Match: Scott Steiner & Booker T w/Sharmell def Big Rocco & Sally Boy when Steiner pinned Rocco.

*TNA Knockouts Battle Royal - The Winner receives $50,000 & a spot in the Main Event Mafia Referee: Traci Brooks Participants: ODB, Alyssa Flash, SoJo Bolt, Daffney, Taylor Wilde, Sarita, Awesome Kong, Velvet Sky, Madison Rayne, Angelina Love and Tara..it came down to Kong & Tara ..they were both close to eliminating one another, when Traci Brooks flipped them over the rope to win and began to celebrate. Nash introduced her as the winner and she jumped into his arms.

Best of 3 series: winner of series goes into the main event of Hard Justice. AJ Styles defeated Matt Morgan.

There have been graphics for TNA 200, so I'm guessing its iMPACT's 200th episode

Office Keys On A Pole Match: Mick Foley vs. Kurt Angle

At one point, Angle had the keychain & fell with it, leaving the hook up on the pole, Earl Hebner had to reattach the keys. Foley used the Mandible Claw and knocked Angle out, he went for the keys, but the MEM came down and attacked Foley. They held Foley while Angle belittled him on the microphone. Bobby Lashley's music hit and he came out via the heel tunnel and made his way to the ring. He came in and embraced Angle with a smile on his face. He looked to be aligned with the Mafia but then instead of attacking Foley, he turned around and punched Angle..he went after the Mafia and they made their way out of the ring and up the ramp. Lashley then helped up Foley and posed for the fans as the Mafia looked on with disgust.

Sounds like the inmates are running the asylum just like WCW had when Nash and Hall were in charge.

TNA sucks

I would rather be at home banging Karen then be apart of this mess.

Posted By: Jeff Jarrett (Guest)  on July 20, 2009 at 11:21 PM

They have a serious hard-on for those pole matches don't they? Awful.
Also, love how they continually promote the WWE - Taz talking about all the awesome matches he's called for them etc.
He could have said he was part of the original ECW, and he sees the same potential for greatness in TNA or something along those lines....Naaahhhh, gotta mention the WWE and remind people of the great matches they remember Taz calling, rather than shitty pole matches.

So he shouldn't mention WWE but it's perfectly acceptable for him to mention being a part of a dead promotion, and say that TNA has the same potential in the same dead promotion. I don't think there is anything left of the ECW horse to even beat at this point.

What is Russo's damn obsession with pole matches!!!???

Posted By: VictoryBlvd (Guest)  on July 20, 2009 at 11:38 PM

SO we most likely get AJ vs Angle at Hard Justice instead of having at BFG where AJ wins the title in a great moment. And I hope we dont see Lashley vs Angle at BFG.

Office keys...I believe thats a first.

Posted By: Chris (Guest)  on July 20, 2009 at 11:42 PM

Ok, I was there:

the Aj/Morgan thing is for the third spot in a triple threat match. It's Angle v Sting v ????

MCMG won with a Senton, not a Frogsplash.

The EY double cross was obv since all the team was asking him if he was ok.

Tomorrow is the 200th Impact taping, not tonight.

And the Security team had Steiner beat. The fat one did a splash off the top rope and had the 3 but Sharmell pulled the ref out of the ring. It was really weird to see Booker and Steiner booked like that.

If Traci's going to be part of the Middle Aged Mafia, what's the point of the Battle Royal?

Posted By: shone jones (Guest)  on July 21, 2009 at 12:12 AM

Okay so MEM is starting to look like a repeat of the NWO, TNA is starting to have pole matches, the inmates are running the asylum. Someone tell Dixie that those who don't learn from history are doomed to repeat it. And with Jarrett possibly at odds with the whole Karen Angle thing (if it's true) it would be great to see Jarrett sell his stake not to Dixie but to VKM. :)

So...Another WWE guy comes to TNA and pushes the origination TNA talent to the back burner. It muct suck to be AJ and Joe. To be so loyal to a company that obviously does not care enough about you to give you a proper build and keep pushing you behind the old WWE guys.

Posted By: iomis2001 (Guest)  on July 21, 2009 at 12:43 AM

Tampa? Jay Lethal is a NJ boy through and through. Jay Lethal owned the Rex Plex of Elizabeth, Exit 13A. You know you are from Jersey if you were distracted in a Jay Lethal match by his mother screaming her head off. You go Momma Lethal, you be proud of your boy. Don't forget your roots Jay.

Another pole match? I feel like we just had one from them within the lats 4 weeks... I swear, it's as if TNA booked their matches just for the 411wrestling comments section, lol

"How can people watch this shit?!"
I can't bring myself to actually watch it, but I read reports and hope and pray that they give AJ the fucking title - instead of pinning him first in elimination matches, and jobbing him out to Brutus Magnus!
And give Daniels the X-Division title.

WCW all over again....

Traci as part of the Mafia?? WHY?! She's never held the KO's Title and when she was being used actively last year, she jobbed most of the time. Plus she wasn't even part of the match UGH. Way to treat the two top women wrestlers of the company. Heck if Alissa Flash won this match at least that'd be a heel to groom for the future.

Posted By: Code Red (Guest)  on July 21, 2009 at 05:50 AM

Even the TNA jaters can't write crap like office keys on a pole match - truly sad.

Posted By: JAK (Guest)  on July 21, 2009 at 06:16 AM

Another pole match where the item fell off early? Excellent. Bet they'll edit that out though, dammit.

Office Keys On A Pole Match: Mick Foley vs. Kurt Angle
_-_ Oh dear . Sounds terrible .

Taz ceased to be anything significant a long long time ago & I have never liked Lashley .

I Miss Christian & Jarrett , TNA Used to be so much better .

I just hope AJ Styles wins the title soon enough .

Posted By: Lexie (Registered)  on July 21, 2009 at 07:27 AM

MCMG win! Geez, how sad is Lethal Consequences? Yea, it's gonna be Lashley that beats Angle for the title and possibly even ends the Main Event Mafia....because none of the good wrestlers can handle that.

Posted By: the dude (Guest)  on July 21, 2009 at 07:30 AM

Geezus, Russo is my kryptonite...

First he books WCW into ruin - and I don't care what anyone says - you can't "restart" a wrestling company by taking a week off and doing what they did. Russo killed WCW, not corporate, not TNT, it was Russo.

How hard is this...
The TNA title is the "crown jewel" of the company (so to speak) - how hard is it to book two men fighting over who is the best and then add a dimension here and there where eventually the face has the heel hating him and beating him down.
Why would Angle fight Foley for his office keys... WHEN HE PULLS FOLEY'S FUCKING KEYS OUT OF HIS OWN POCKET?!?!?!?!?

You take the stupid "Legends" title and you destroy it - get rid of it OR you rechristen it the TNA TELEVISION TITLE!!

You defend it on EVERY EPISODE OF IMPACT and you use someone like EY or Lethal or someone that is a good worker but isn't ready to be in Main Events and you give them a title of IMPORTANCE to go after.

The X-Division is dead - move on. There are more guys in TNA that are X Division than those that aren't it seems so you have taken AJ and Daniels and moved them up the card (which I agree with) but you didn't bring anyone up to take their spot in the X -Division.
The GREATEST X-Division matches included AJ Styles, Chris Daniels, and Joe... none of whom are in the X Division and you have no one to fill their spots on the lower card.

You release Petey Williams, Jerry Lynn, and Sonjay... Lynn is still going in ROH, Petey was X Division and Dutt could have become the next Rey - except from the middle east.....

Your tag teams are GOOD - but you book like shit.
Beer Money and 3D have a great thing going... get the Guns vs. the Mini-Muta and Davari.
The Guns are natural faces right now - they are sticking up for Detroit and the hard workers in the auto industry while the other two represent the foreigner companies that have an air of arrogance about them...

THIS STUFF BOOKS ITSELF.
Abyss - Turn him into the monster he was again... Have him destroy Morgan and let Morgan lose a couple matches and then have him blast Abyss and then set his sights on Nash saying he will cripple the "legend" but not for that stupid title - just for the bragging rights - stuff wrestling always had before Russo got lucky for a couple years in the E.

Can I have some decent wrestling in TNA? I don't want them to fail but if Jarrett is banging Karen and Kurt is with Kahn - and OMG Kurt, why would you make that trade...

I swear.

I'd totally be down for a Hernandez/Joe match. But Hernandez better hurry with cashing in that TNA World title shot ... maybe make the Hard Justice main a 4-way?

Posted By: Nate (Guest)  on July 21, 2009 at 08:12 AM

I guess they're going to push back my spider on a pole match for a couple weeks. Or maybe it'll be a 4 minute ladder match with the spider at stake.

Posted By: chumpstain (Guest)  on July 21, 2009 at 08:15 AM

@Master of the Dagger

With ECW, people don't remember how it all ended they just remember the fact the promotion was ground-breaking, well booked and made a lasting impact on the business. Plus, it's a dead promotion so there's no harm in mentioning it positively. They're competing with the WWE right now, why constantly remind viewers about your competition?
That'd be like if Coke put out an ad with a guy talking about how great Coke is, but then mentioning that they drank Pepsi for years and is actually pretty damn good too. It wouldn't happen because that's free advertising for your competitor, and it's a really fucking dumb thing for TNA to do considering one of the biggest complaints about the promotion is the pushing of WWE cast-off's over homegrown talent.

Kevin Nash vs. Smarks in an Amazing Red on a Pole Match!

Posted By: Mikey PewPew (Guest)  on July 21, 2009 at 11:18 PM

I constantly love how fast people are to bitch over TNA and WWE decisions. If you guys really want to make the decisions in wrestling...get into the business.

AJ was not "jobbed out". God I hate it when people continually use wrestling terms they have zero idea what they mean. AJ "jobbed" in the 10 man tag to ADVANCE AN ANGLE!

Seriously sheep, AJ, Daniels, Joe, Jarrett, Foley, etc. are so over regardless that a loss is not going to hurt them anymore. However, wins over "names" like that should be talked up a lot more than they have.

But this constant bitching is just stupid...if you don't like what TNA/WEE is doing: TURN THE SHOW OFF and give them ZERO attention.

After talking to a few workers this past month, and reading people hiding behind words on a screen, I can see why many workers absolutely shit on anyone who says anything online.

After having to assist in setting a show up earlier this month, (Edmonton brought in Al Snow, Jay Lethal, and Mick Foley), you really see just why they look down on the 'net and IWC.

Can I challenge anyone to actually try to watch a show and TRY to find positives regardless of how bad you think it is?

Love to see that happen, but bitching anonymously is so much easier.

IF YOU HATE IT, TURN IT OFF.

Posted By: Embrassed (Guest)  on July 22, 2009 at 02:57 PM

This is why TNA is bad. They have ODB, who at the beginning of the Frontline MEM feud, was with the Frontline, actually the only knockout in it, and now she competes to be apart of the MEM?
