Chicago native Richard Marx enjoys another week at the top on 2 lists
[DU PAGE SPORTS FINAL, SD Edition]
Chicago Tribune (pre-1997 Fulltext)

Chicago, Ill.
Most of this week's chart fireworks came on the pop singles list, where two of the year's hottest female singers made impressive gains: Paula Abdul with her dance smash "Cold Hearted," which zipped from No. 6 to No. 3; and Gloria Estefan with her big ballad "Don't Wanna Lose You," which leaped from No. 9 to No. 4. Both are still on track for No. 1 honors, but probably will have to wait a few weeks for "Right Here Waiting" to cool off. Abdul also had a good week on the LP list, where "Forever Your Girl" cracked the Top 5 (up from No. 7 to No. 3) after more than a year on the charts.
