On some systems with NVidia graphics adapters the game crashed after launching from the tradestation. In this case, please try out this hotfix. UFO: Afterlight patch 1.5 has been released by the game's developer, Altar Games. The patch fixes some bugs and adds new features, of which the most important is the compatibility with Windows Vista.

The wait is over, the download for Darkstar One version 1.3 is now available.
This update corrects miscellaneous bug fixes and includes interface and controlling improvements. There are now more modding capabilities and new random missions.
