MARTHA DISCORD

September 3, 2007 -- THE attempt to fight Martha Stewart with music continues in Katonah. On the heels of village resident Marc Black's music video - inspired by Stewart's plan to trademark the name of the town where she lives - the Advanced Placement Band has a protest song called "The Katonah." The group croons, "K- Town doesn't need Martha Stewart Living/or any of the bad press that you've been giving/You preheat our ovens for bagels and lox/I hope they don't burn to a crisp like your stocks." Stewart's rep previ ously insisted she "seeks to honor the town" by buying the name.
