Report from the Star Wars Spectacular 2009

July 24, 2009

This Star Wars Spectacular report may be quite different from others because the Star Wars Spectacular is quite different this year. Joining Lucasfilm’s Head of Fan Relations Steve Sansweet on the stage to showcase some of the most exciting upcoming developments this year holds for Star Wars are G4’s Kevin Periera and Olivia Munn from “Attack of the Show.” This Hall H presentation will be broadcast on G4 tomorrow (Saturday, July 24, at 2pm), so those who want as thorough a recap as possible had best catch that show. Still, we want to keep you up to speed on the big beats, so here goes…

Star Wars: In Concert

swconcert.jpg

The panel presentation started “cold” — with no preamble, no vocal introduction. Just the lights going down, and the massive screen coming to life with a video introduction of Star Wars: In Concert (see the video here).

A surprise presence then took the stage — Anthony Daniels, known to legions of Star Wars fans as C-3PO. “Star Wars [music] has always been one of the key characters in the Star Wars Saga,” said Daniels. “As key as Luke Skywalker and Darth Vader. We’ve all loved John Williams music as an integral part of the movies. And so I was thrilled to be asked to host what I thought would be a concert, with film clips.”

Daniels described the premiere at the O2 Arena in London, where Star Wars: In Concert first took shape. “I stood on the empty stage looking at the thousands of seats that would soon be filled by fans and music lovers. It felt magical. It felt like home. I felt good.”

Continued Daniels, “This thing was not ‘a concert with clips.’ It was indescribable. It was massive. Not only was I going to retell one of the greatest stories ever. My words would cue all this overwhelming technology.  And all live… no retakes.  Of course being on stage I sort of missed the whole thing. It wasn’t until later, when I saw a recording of the show that I realized just how good it is. I knew it was different but not that it was so extravagantly spectacular and thrilling.”

Star Wars: In Concert begins its Worldwide Tour in Anaheim on October 1. Daniels pointed audience members to www.StarWarsinConcert.com for more information and ticketing.

Welcome Your Hosts

Steve Sansweet next took the stage, a familiar fixture to the Star Wars fan community and the Comic-Con experience. Welcoming the fans, Sansweet quickly described how this Spectacular was different this time round.  “This is the first time ever that a San Diego Comic-Con panel will be televised, but we like being first—just as Lucasfilm was the first film company to bring its story directly to fans with details and photos of a little space fantasy—way back in 1976!” Sansweet teased that next year is the 30th anniversary of The Empire Strikes Back, and that it’s the perfect opportunity for a Star Wars Celebration. “We don’t have yet have an exact date or place, but we are in the planning stage of Star Wars Celebration V, coming to your galaxy next summer.”

kev_olivia.jpg

He invited his co-hosts on to the stage, handing the baton to Kevin and Olivia (who had their hands filled with lightsabers as they dueled their way into stage). To show their devotion to Star Wars fandom, both showed up in costume. Olivia was decked out as sexy (but not Jabba’s slave) Princess Leia. “Now, nothing shows commitment more than strapping yourself into a metal bikini,” quipped Olivia. “But that outfit is – let’s call it: drafty. So I went in a different direction – what do you think?”

olivia_img.jpg

Kevin described his outfit as “Doug Skywalker,” the long overshadowed and ignored brother to Luke Skywalker. “Where was Luke when Uncle Owen and Aunt Beru were last night’s barbeque briquettes? He was there was the dustpan.”

Star Wars Stories

Kevin and Olivia next introduced the Lucasfilm Star Wars Stories project, wherein Lucasfilm asked Star Wars fans to recount, firsthand, their experiences during the last 30+ years of fandom. To inspire fellow fans of the saga, they screened a short video of “inside” fans — folks like Dennis Muren, John Knoll, Sam Witwer and Seth Green, and their first exposure to the Star Wars saga. (See the video here).

What’s Coming from LucasArts

LucasArts’ Senior Marketing Manager Matt Shell joined the stage to talk about upcoming games from LucasArts. First up was Star Wars The Clone Wars: Republic Heroes, coming October 6, 2009.

“It tells a unique story that bridges the first two seasons. The creators of the show have been hands-on with the visuals – and the characters are voiced by the same actors you’re familiar with from the series,”  explained Shell. He also discussed Star Wars: The Old Republic while concept art visuals dominated the screen.

tor_duel.jpg

“LucasArts and BioWare are teaming up to bring a whole new level of story to massively multiplayer games.  In The Old Republic, players will be able to define their personal story and determine their unique path down the light or dark side of the Force.  Every player’s story is unique and epic in a way that has never before been experienced in an MMO.  Each one of our playable classes in The Old Republic has a unique story spanning several hundred hours this is in addition to all of the other activities, world stories, crafting, trading, etc. that you expect from an MMO.”

The Force Unleashed: Ultimate Sith Edition

tfu_img.jpg

The big news dropped on the Comic-Con audience by LucasArts came in the form of The Force Unleashed: Ultimate Sith Edition.  This Fall LucasArts will release a new downloadable level for the Xbox 360 and the PS3.  It re-imagines the Star Wars Saga as if the Secret Apprentice had taken Darth Vader’s place at the Emperor’s side after the events of the original game and is going to let you explore the deepest, darkest side of the Force. The game expands the original The Force Unleashed levels with new levels set on Coruscant and Tatooine, and an all-new level set on Hoth.

It’s a what-if scenario, “the secret apprentice is sent to Hoth with a mission to crush the Rebellion once and for all, and along the way he’s going to come up against Luke Skywalker!” described Shell. The Ultimate Sith Edition will be available on Mac and PC too.

More than just words, the presentation showcased a debut video trailer for The Force Unleashed: Ultimate Sith Edition which you can see here.

The Clone Wars on DVD

Dave Filoni was the next guest to join Kevin and Olivia on stage. The Supervising Director of The Clone Wars began by discussing the boxed set for season one, coming to DVD and Blu-Ray this November. “Our show is 22 minutes on Cartoon Network, we actually shoot more than that. We shoot around 24 minutes for episodes. Sometime there are sequences that are cut out. We have seven episodes where we’ve put that stuff back into the episodes. We’ve also put a 64-page booklet in the DVD that showcases the artwork.”

Filoni explained the that the Blu-Ray edition goes into the Jedi Archive — a repository of extra content. A video trailer for the DVD then followed.  See the video here.

Dave then went on to discuss about season two, and now that the Clone Wars has hit its stride. “We’ve made it a lot more intense. It gets a little violent. Cad Bane started to prove some of that.”

Video Mail Questions

The hosts then began playing video questions submitted by viewers. First up, was a question about bounty hunters. A showcase of Cad Bane art segued to new characters, including Bossk, Sugi and Embo.

sugi_img2.jpg

In answering a question about Obi-Wan Kenobi’s backstory, we learn that Season Two will feature a new character, the Duchess Satine Sateen Satine, a new character with a previously undisclosed relationship with Kenobi.

satine_img1.jpg

In fielding a question about locations, Dave discussed that we’re returning to Rodia, Ryloth, and visiting Mustafar (a story that will feature Anakin).

rodia_img.jpg

mustafar_img.jpg

And we’ll also be seeing Mandalore…  but Dave couldn’t go into any further detail.

The next question concerned returning characters. Rather than field the question himself, Dave deferred to George Lucas, via video. Or rather, it was Seth Green in a rather poor George costume, who quickly scattered when Lucas caught him.

 The Path to Season Two

table_img.jpg

The voice actors next took the stage to read a brief, original scene from The Clone Wars. In attendence were Ashley Eckstein (Ahsoka Tano), Matt Lanter (Anakin Skywalker), C-3PO (Anthony Daniels), Cat Taber (Padme Amidala), Tom Kane (Yoda), and James Arnold Taylor (Obi-Wan Kenobi).  The scene bridged the end of “Hostage Crisis” — setting the characters into motion toward the path of Season Two. This led to the new trailer for Season Two which will officially debut online tomorrow: Featured were all the returning favorites, along with appearances by Poggle the Lesser, Ki-Adi-Mundi and several helmeted Mandalorian warriors (one with an oddly familiar voice) whose agenda remains mysterious… See the video here.

55 Responses to “Report from the Star Wars Spectacular 2009”

  1. Nathan P. Butler Says:

With regard to TFU: Is there any indication of whether the Hoth level will be released at a later date as DLC? Many fans have already purchased the TFU for PS3 or Xbox 360 back when it was $50 - $60, then paid $5 each for two new character skin packs, then another $10 for the first DLC mission, and will likely pay another $10 for the Tatooine DLC when it arrives. That’s nearly $100 already spent on TFU, and that is just for those who didn’t go multiplatform and get the Krome version for PS2, PSP, or Wii, nor the N-Space version on Nintendo DS. Are longtime, loyal, completist fans going to end up having to dig another $50 - 60 out of their wallets to pick up the “Ultimate Sith Edition” to get a crack at the Hoth level, which otherwise leaves the Tatooine level’s story incomplete, it seems?

  2. Scoke Says:

Very disappointed about the “news” coming out of the panel regarding SW. Especially about “The Force Unleashed: The Special Edition.” And especially about the fact that although you specifically stated back in 2007 that the game could never work on the PC, even though the technology did in fact exist back then, you’re releasing it on the PC and even Mac. Not going to shell out money for products that shouldn’t even exist, according to LucasArts not too long ago. I already paid enough money for the Wii I bought specifically for the game, since I was trusting that it wouldn’t be out for the PC. And as Nathan said earlier, many have already shelled out enough cash with downloadable packs. It’s just a money guzzler now, it seems.

Would have loved to see a “Special Edition” of KOTOR 2, in which the game is actually a finished product.

  3. Trisha Wilson Says:

Had a blast at the Spectacular! Took my 3 kids and loved every minute. So excited about the concert tour, the video games, and the new season of the Clone Wars! Thanks for sharing it all with us!

  4. Kim Says:

I’m so excited to see that Celebration V is in planning stages. I was suppose to go to Celebration IV - had tickets and all - but then couldn’t go at the last minute. So I’ve been very anxious for the announcement of CV.

Since you are in the planning stages, can I please say: Don’t make the focus of the Celebration about the Clone Wars animated series. Please!! I want to go and see everything about the original trilogy and the prequel trilogy. No cartoon stuff please (or just a little bit off to the corner somewhere.)

    Please.

  5. Kenneth Morgan Says:

I went to the website for “Star Wars: In Concert” and noticed that the concerts listed were all on the West Coast. Are any East Coast concerts scheduled?

  6. Zachary Cavanaugh Says:

i just wish they would have come out with a hole new game for ps2 also, or pc that would be great, i can’t afford the ps3 or XBOX 360

  7. Kieren Says:

I was kind of disappointed that they didn’t announce any new games. I would’ve REALLY loved a Battlefront 3 announcement and also a new Jedi Knight game or Imperial Commando.

  8. Jedy Mazder Ohby Wahn Kennoby Says:

Well I just bought TFU at Gamestop for $20 (new) and I have to say: for 20 dollars its a pretty good deal.

I dont see the point of buying it at $60 (Jedi Temple DLC, costumes, etc). I believe that its a great game..but they need to move on.

    and one other thing:

WHERE IS BATTLEFRONT 3???? WHAT GIVES, LUCASARTS?!?

  9. Cheryl Jewett-Koblinsky Says:

When I heard about the upcoming season of Clone Wars I had to do a double take. Ok, it is nice that Obi-Wan will have an undisclosed relationship with someone named Sateen, but isn’t it a bit of a reminder of something else? Namely the movie Moulin Rouge where Christian (played by Ewan but also known to us as Obi-Wan) falls in love with Satine (played by Nicole Kidman). Just food for thought.

  10. Ben Saari Says:

Just a quick response to the post asking why fans are being asked to pay multiple times for additional content for The Force Unleashed. Several things to consider: in 1978 I paid to see Star Wars at least once a week (I was seven it took half my allowance to get into a matinee), toy collectors have long known that we pay a premium to be the first on the block to have a piece of mass produced plastic, we all lined up for the special editions and paid full price to see those. My point is there is nothing new about: a producer/story teller/ip owner expecting to get paid for their work, early purchasers paying more, charges for new content, or repeat charges for repeat uses (thankfully technology has put that to bed for now).

I suppose it’s easy for me to have this point of view since I’ve been holding out on the DLC waiting for something like this.

  11. Matt H. Says:

I hate this, and love it too! I hate that only PS3 and Xbox 360 owners get to play TFU: USE! What about PSP or Wii owners? They are able to download extra games onto their systems too? Lucasarts, I love your other works but this is too far. I love that (maybe) Boba Fett is in the Clone Wars.

  12. jkthunder Says:

^ Exactly what I think 99.9% of fans who have played TFU are asking. What would be really great is if we could get a retail disc bundled with the two DLCs and the Hoth mission, but I’m not sure how much of a game redesign, of any, had to be done for the USE - ?

Hopefully after SDCC blows over, Lucasarts will make some more announcements concerning this, because it certainly seems to have caused a stir in the last 24 hours since the news has been released!

  13. Luke Says:

Who is the voice of the Mandalorian at the end? Sounded a bit like Jon Favreau to me. Could the loser from Swingers and the winning helmer of Iron Man be putting his voice to use in Clone Wars?

  14. Luke Says:

Wait a minute. This new mandalorian commander sounds like he might be voiced by Mark Hamill. Strangely familiar, indeed!

  15. Scott Says:

O.K., the G4 hosts were HORRIBLE!!! THey ruined the whole event for me. Please keep them out next year, the panel will be so much more enjoyable!

  16. Tobar Says:

I’m with Nathan, I love the DLC. I’ve bought them all as they come out but now I’ll have to buy a whole new edition of the game to play the last new level? That doesn’t seem fair to us fans who’ve supported TFU from the beginning….

  17. Alex (Clone AM-5010) Says:

seriasly the G4 host made it horrible your siting there trying to hear the about the new levels on force unleashed and they start talking, and if the apprentice kills obi wan then luke doesnt become a jedi so there woudnt be a hoth battle

  18. Robert Says:

Keep those G4 hosts away! Could not finish watching the Spectacular…

I feel bad for the audience that actually went.

  19. JHEEP Says:

I totally agree about the G4 hosts. I’m not at Comic-Con but watched G4’s coverage and it was terrible. I wanted to hear about Star Wars, but instead I got two chuckleheads making lame jokes and constantly interrupting the panelists with their inane banter. The worst part was watching what’s-her-name repeatedly jamming that bad wig on that poor guy’s head (I forget his name) while he was trying to talk, even though he was obviously irritated and distracted by her. FAIL.

Get rid of the hosts completely, or at least use the other guy-girl pair from G4 (the two Blairs)–those two actually seem to know something about comics/sci-fi/etc., unlike Wingus and Dingus at the panel.

  20. Live-Action Series Says:

Why wasn’t there anything about the Live-Action Series?

  21. Matt H. Says:

Also I really love TFU. It is my favorite video-game and my fav. Star Wars character is Boba Fett so I was really hoping that he would be in the game. Now, just to see him in TFU I have to go out and buy a PS3 or 360!
    I mean really!

  22. Disgusted on Tatooine Says:

Why did Lucas allow those lousy horrible G4 hosts anywhere near this event?!

I do not want that terrible channel to be associated with star wars EVER AGAIN!

Please delete anything to do with them on this site and keep them away from all future events. They made me feel like star wars is a joke.

Who made the decision to include those asses?!

  23. Matt H. Says:

I agree with you jk. I own the PSP version and just why can’t Lucasarts make it like Patapon 2? To get it you would either have to buy the case at a retail store and enter the redemption code on PSP network, or just buy it strait off of it. Same for Wii owners of TFU!

  24. Joel Says:

I’m curious also to see if The Ultimate Sith Edition will be strictly DLC or another $50-60$ disc. I’m not too thrilled about having to rebuy an entire game just to play three more levels. Also I 100% agree with Scott. Olivia Munn is excellent eye candy but the G4 hosts were not suited for this panel. Whether I attend the panel in person or watch it on TV, I’m doing it because I want to know what’s happenning in the Star Wars universe not to be bombarded with lame attempts at humor.

  25. Dustin Roberts Says:

I have to agree with Scott, Olivia Nunn is a good lookin’ woman, but annoying as hell. I think she pissed off Filoni when she kept trying to cram that stupid wig on his head. Please get G4 as far away from Lucasfilm as possible, they ruined your show. I know this event was out of the usual players hands and that in my opinion is why it SUCKED. The Spectacular was a dud, just ask anyone with a clue.

  26. Trey Says:

All in all I thought it was an awesome panel. The hosts weren’t great, but they tried. I am so excited for Clone Wars Season 2! The TFU things bugs me a little bit too. I wish that they would just make a new game instead of adding all these DLCs for TFU.

  27. Kazigi Says:

Okay, the Mandalorian voice at the end of the Clone Wars trailer… Was that Bruce Campbell? Oh God I hope it was…If so season 2 is going to be even better then I thought it was.

  28. Jason Says:

While I loved all the information presented at the convention, from the concert, to the games, to the new season of Clone Wars… I was utterly APPALLED at the actions of the G4 hosts. They were rude, offensive, and completely inappropriate for the nature of the event. I sincerely hope that Lucasfilm not only avoids all further collaboration with G4, but makes sure that the station recieves no sneak peeks of ANY Lucasfilm projects until they offer an on-air apology for their completely unprofessional and insulting performance.

  29. Jimmy Mac Says:

Future certainly looks bright for Star Wars fans! TCW Season 2, The Concert, Bounty Hunters, Boba, C5….Plus much more on the horizon. Great recap of the Spectacular. GL and Seth Green need their own sit-com!

  30. Laura Says:

Man all was great except for Olivia. She was super annoying! Also, her pretending to be Star Wars expert was really embarrassing to watch.

  32. Bud Says:

Why was my previous comment deleted?

Please, do not EVER have those terrible G4 hosts do anything star wars related again! They suck and ruined the entire show!

  33. Louie Soto Says:

Every time the G4 hosts were quite, I was having a good time. They nearly ruined the whole show. I was in the 3rd row and a couple of people next to me were talking about how annoying they were and I think Kevin and Olivia turned their heads at them because they heard. Seriously, their funny on Attack of the Show, but they are not the right people to be hosting events at comic con, especially a Star Wars event. I was really disappointed. Good thing Anthony Daniels and the Clone Wars cast read through made up for some of it. Please bring them back next year. They have a lot of talent and it was fun to watch to watch them do the voices. Also, the Clone Wars season 2 trailer was amazing. Looks much more mature and darker than season 1. Can’t wait.

  34. Ade Says:

Am I missing something regarding the TFU DLC? Where does it say the Hoth level will be exclusive to a new disc-based release? The info above indicates to me that there will be new missions on Tatooine and Coruscant, but the real meat of the DLC will be an additional level set on Hoth, and I can’t find anything that suggests otherwise.

  35. Luke Edwards Says:

I thought that George Lucas was making a worldwide announcement of some sort, possible about the live action tv series? When is that going to be offically announced?

  36. John Says:

I completely agree with Scott. The involvemnt of G4 was more of a detriment than a boost to the panel. Granted, Olivia is very attractive, but that wears off after about 5 minutes and then they both became simply annoying for the remaining 40+ minutes we had to sit through. Steve Sansweet was much more entertaining when he hosted the previous panels.

  37. Homer Says:

I really enjoyed the clone wars news from the panel this year. Season 2 will be great.

The only thing I hated were those 2 people from G4. That channel is childish and should be banned from the panel. I hope in the future they will have nothing to do with any future endeavors in star wars.

  38. Chris Branan Says:

The G4 host ruined the show. We waited in the hot sun for nearly 2 hours just to watch those two fools play with a wig and other self indulgent humor. We watched other Star Wars fans get up and leave. We only stayed because we were still hot from standing outside. Hearing about the concert was cool, that was about it.

If the G4 jerks are there next year, I will not wait in that line again.

It is pretty short sighted to think that all Star Wars fans are into that kind show.

  39. ryan Says:

Why can’t lucasarts create a game that actually lets you play a character oh I don’t know… from the movies!!! I’m tiered of this aweful expanded universe junk. Let me play as Luke, Vader, Boba Fett, hell anyone who actually was in the freaking movies, not some ill concieved sith that looks straight out of a bad fan film.

BTW the G4 hosts sucked - there is no way that snarky chick or her ding dong sidekick probably even like Star Wars.

  40. Jedi Mom Says:

The Spectacular wasn’t so spectacular. The “news” was nothing most os us hadn’t heard already. The G4 hosts ruined the show…too stiff and unfunny. The only good part was the voice actors’ read-through

  41. Alberto Velarde Says:

I just hope they come with a city for Star Wars Celebration V, it has been around for at least 2 years and they only say it will be one next year, but when and where ? Hope they make their mind already.

  42. Ponda Baba Says:

    G4 SUCKS!!

  43. Phil Lo Says:

when i watched the re-run (because I missed the original run), when the LucasArts representative talks on the panel, I was thinking “poor man”. I sense his frustration of that wig. Even Dave (the director of the Clone Wars) has to take that wig. maybe what we wanted was a serious host rather than having too many gags.

the only gag i liked was seth green wearing Mr. Lucas eyeglasses and a funny comment for Plo Koon’s appearance in the Clone Wars.

  44. Chad Podell Says:

Please find out if STAR WARS films will be hitting Blu Ray anytime soon and if any of the EXPANDED UNIVERSE novels will see their way to film via computer animation or live action.

    CAP

  45. DRB Says:

My teenage son and I watched ComicCon on G4. Thankfully we recorded it on the DVR. We could fast forward through all that G4 junk.
I have loved Star Wars since I was 12 (is that really 32 years?!?) and it was positively disgusting to see something so beloved lampooned in such a manner.
The two Blairs (male and female) tried, but seriously, the fake Leia and the stupid Doug?? were embarrassing and not worth watching.
G4 is not worthy to be hosts for Star Wars. Please don’t tarnish the Star Wars image with that kind of trash again.
BTW, my son and I agree that the panel with voice stars were great. The guy who does Obi-Wan was a hoot….. “What’s absurd is that no one knows what is going on between those two” referring to Anakin and Padme’. That was the best….. We loved the panel….. Anthony Daniels is still the man.
He will be the centerpiece for the Star Wars in Concert tour…. I look forward to what promises to be an amazing retelling of this wonderful saga.

  46. Gabe Says:

All I can say is that “Star Wars: In Concert” looks amazing! That event is gonna be like a new movie for me!

  47. Blu-Jawa Says:

I was REALLY Hoping they would give us some kinda Date as two when the Saga will be Released on Hi-Def Blu-Ray! later I heard “Steve Sansweet” said “it’s been green lighted and there working on it” I hope it’s sometime in
    2010 or Sooner.

other than that. the G4 coverage was ok IMO. I think next years show should be Hosted by: Kevin Smith or Harry Knowles or any of those guys and that pretty girl that starred in “Fanboy’s”.

  48. Johnny C. Says:

I waited forever to get into the Star Wars panel this year.

After hours of waiting, what do I get to see? TWO IDIOTS from that awful G4 channel making terrible jokes and pretending to be Star Wars fans.

I basically waited hours to get in only to leave after 30 minutes.

If G4 is ever involved with Star Wars again, I will stop spending my hard earned cash on anything Star Wars.

    Boycott G4!!! That channel SUCKS!

  49. Lynne Phillips Says:

Was really hoping for more news. Yay for the concert and yay for CW season 2, but what about the live action series? And why is CV still only in the planning stages? If they stick to precedent, it’ll be on Memorial Day weekend, which means they really should have a venue and date. In convention-planning terms, that’s not very far away.

As for the hosts… Well, I’m glad I’m not the only one who feels they were awful. They were annoying, obnoxious, and frankly, a little condescending. Steve Sansweet is the fan liaison, so he should be the one liaising with us, not these 2 idiots. When Steve hosts, I feel respected and informed. After the G4 coverage, I felt mocked.

  50. Nahdar Vebb Says:

G4 is nothing but complete garbage !
Why they let those 2 losers from a crappy network there is unfathomable.
They were completely annoying and utterly painful to watch. Which makes me question why these 2 losers were hired by G4. They offered nothing there, and offer nothing from night 2 night on that pathetic excuse of a show they put on.
(If it is even considered a show.)
Also I would like to say that, that x-play is complete b.s.
Bad reviews, awful, annoying supposed humor with 1 pathetic host (Sessler), and 1 pitiful host (Webb), who she (Webb), is painful to watch and listen to. As if she is in pain, as if she is constipated or something.

  51. F. Bingham Says:

I have to agree with everyone else, the hosts runied the show. Thankfully I was at home watching and I could walk away or change the channel when those two started talking.

I am now embarrassed to say I watch G4 after what they did.

The panel was great, I love watching/hearing the panel do the voice acting.

But for the love of all that is unholy (Im looking at you lucasarts) why the hell couldn’t you have given us a better update on Star Wars: The Old Republic MMO???

  52. Nahdar Vebb Says:

    To Star Wars,

I am a big fan, but I guarantee, if they let anyone from that horrible excuse of a network, with the most pathetic hosts/employees there again, you can say goodbye to my hard earned money for good !

    PLEASE BOYCOTT G4 - IT’S COMPLETE B.S.

  53. Olivia Eros Says:

I love the season two info!!! I am sooooo Clone Wars crazy! I can’t wait untill the second season comes out! btw Ahsoka is so cool she is totaly my role model!!

  54. Ivy NYC Says:

This panel–and show– was so awful, I hope someone lost their job(s) over this.

It was amateurish, UN-FUNNY, tedious, embarrassing (Doug Skywalker? WTF???), sloppy, and pretty insulting to the average SW fan. This is why Lucas has lost all my respect– he thinks he can basically fart into a mike and the fans will eat it up with canon-chocked goodness.

Lucas is NOT a SW fan. GIVE IT TO KEVIN SMITH ALREADY AND RETIRE!!!!

  55. Jim Says:

MANDALORIANS! i have no idea who the voice is, but just seeing them, and the picture of Mandalore, made me so happy!
