Breast Cancer - the Facts

You can help fight this devastating disease. Make your donation here to help Team Attitude at Altitude reach their £20,000 fund-raising target.

About Breakthrough Breast Cancer

Breakthrough Breast Cancer logoBreakthrough Breast Cancer is a national charity which is dedicated to research into breast cancer. The Charity's vision is a future free from the fear of breast cancer.

The charity conducts research into breast cancer, campaigns for better treatments and services, and produces an extensive range of educational publications on the subject.

The Breakthrough Breast Cancer Research Centre in London was opened in December 1999. Together with the Institute of Cancer Research and the Royal Marsden NHS Foundation Trust, it forms the largest comprehensive cancer centre in Europe.

Breakthrough Breast Cancer was founded to create a centre of excellence for breast cancer research. It was the vision of Bill Freedman and his children, when his wife Toby Robins died from breast cancer in 1986.
