    spencertaylor: you really think so i thought it looked just fine in the demo i played....and i mean what do you want for every play to be a big group of people in every play just pushing against each other with a guy in the middle with the pig skin...thats not how it is in real life...some tackles are just one guy against the other you know? but i did get to see it multiple times...last year it was only two guys could tackle a player now i saw like 3 and 4 getting in on one tackle...i only got to see one pile up to where a whole bunch of guys from the two teams got in there and even then only two guys were on my team

    bleedgreen2-1-5: before i mention anything i jut want you and i to bow our heads in memory of JJ the best DC ever...may he rest in peace....okay moving on...lol no offense but i think it might be just you i usually straight poop on everyone with the eagles....you just got to worry about when another team is throwing the deep ball is all especially when youre covering with sheldon because he should be a nickel as talented as he is

    gang tackling is stupid as hell it happened once in the demo, it looked like a magnet and everyone just gets sucked in. looked totally unrealstic and just weird

    I like the gameplay this year, im just nervous about the pass defense again, that totally ruined madden for me last year because a CPU QB could tear appart your defense easily, and i play with the Eagles (a top 5 defense) and someone liek Ryan Fitzpatrick would go 21-25 for 315 yards and 2 tds each game, now when you play other users theres human error, but when you play the CPU you have to score on every drive or you lose because they never get sacked and there is ALWAYS someone wide open for a quick dumpoff before you get the sack.
    If they fix pass defense im sold, all in all the 1 minute demo was too short to get a fee of how it plays, at least 2 mins would have been nice?

    When NFL 2K5 came out, it destroyed Madden. Madden 05 was good, but they had to Try hard to make a great game in Madden 06 for the PS2 (which is my fav in the whole series). However Madden 06 came out with an exclusive NFL Licence, so every Madden After 06 has been a mere crum from EA every year, not letting us see th full cookie. But I think, Madden 10, just might be good this year, hopefully.

    Not enough new for 60 bucks. Other than the new rosters and new tackling machanics I can't see much else changed.

    TheSteelest: im sorry but ill never understand someone paying the 60 bucks for a game if they dont enjoy it and think the year(or 8 years)earlier version is better...if that is so than just stick to that version and i guess create players for all the new rookies and adjust the rosters...its not that hard to do...
    anyway i mean thats why i didnt get Fight Night Round 4....because i like FNR3 alot more....nothing wrong with that...stop coming on comment boards and complaining about having to buy a game...because in the end...you dont "have to cough up $60 to EA" that goes to everyone not just Mr. Steel

    bboysleepy32: in the final version you can make gameplay faster so its less "boring" for you.....
    i didnt quite enjoy how slow it was either but im never one to only play something once if i didnt like it and give up on it...i played again and it got alot better as i got used to it....but that wont stop me from speeding it up a tad bit when it comes out though

    noserag is right! Dude, this is the same f'n game! You can have more fun playing Madden 02, which by the way, has Al Michaels and John Madden doing the play by play... As far as graphics go, they look pretty amazing. I hate it, but I'm going to have to cough up $60 to EA... WHEN, LORD?! When will we see the end of EA Sports monopolization of the beloved NFL!!! When?! When?!

    To many similarities to last year's game..sure the gang tackling is a nice added feature, and there are some different looks to the graphics. But the commentary is so lame with long gaps of dead air space in between plays..it sounds detached... this game will have to break into a "9" rating or better to make me jump. I get more of an intense game experience playing Madden 02 then anything I've tried since still the best field view vision of them all , I do hope Madden 10 can change that.

    It just has good cut scenes, that's it. I think NCAA 10 is better.

    Just played the PS3 demo, was kinda of boring, excluding the fact that it had 1 minute quarters. I just wasn't feeling it. Something is wrong with it. Anyone who has played the PS3 version, please tell me it's just me.

    Madden has really gone down the crapper the last 4 or 5 years. Just like every other sports game out there they over complicate the game and try to pass it off as "new and improved". Well how about we fix the things that don't work (like gang tackling) and stop wasting time trying to figure out ways to make the mini games more difficult.

    I think madden is better than last year and the graphics seem awsome and more detailed and the animation seems right this time but we just been playing the demo wait till the full version comes out and it cant get much better than this for the ps3/xbox360. i like how the game plays.
