Rangeela's Pakya dies in an accident

MUMBAI, Jan 12: Rajesh Joshi, who is well known as `Pakya' for his memorable role in Amir Khan starrer Rangeela died today following a road accident. He was 29 and is survived by his wife Falguni.

According to family sources, Rajesh, a resident of Vile Parle in north-east Mumbai, who was on his way to attend a function in his car dashed on another vehicle on the Veer Savarkar Marg and was injured severely yesterday at about 7.30 pm.

He was immediately removed to the Hinduja hospital where he succumbed to the injuries at 5 am today and cremated later.

Rajesh has also acted in Akshay Kumar thriller Aflatoon. His other films include Laveria and Sarfarosh. He is well known for his role as a cinema ticket black-marketeer in Rangeela.

He was also acted in several plays. His brother Manoj Joshi is a stage-actor of repute and has played a role in Gandhi-virrudha-Gandhi.
