- Steph is one of the most dependable characters on the street, a motorbike-loving tomboy who now runs the local pub.

- She arrived with mum Lyn, dad Joe and sister Flick (Holly Valance). Her best friend is Libby, although they had a brief falling out.

- She has had a tangled love life, including her first marriage being derailed after it was revealed her would-be hubby preferred her younger sister. Then her relationship with Max went kaput after he went insane. However, the couple had a baby, Charlie. Toadie also jilted her.

Carla Bonner

- Carla has two kids - Harley, who was born in 1991, and Jhye, born in 1998.

- She had a bit part in the Jackie Chan film Mr Nice Guy.

- She was a temporary housemate in Australia's Celebrity Big Brother in 2002.
