Consumer Price Index (CPI)

Consumer price index covers the consumption of the entire population of the country. Prices used in the index are regular prices paid by the public.

Consumer Price Index (CPI), August 2009

The inflation rate was -0.8 percent in August (-0.9% in July). The Swedish consumer price index increased by 0.2% from July to August (0.2 percent in August 2008). The CPI for August 2009 is 299.42 (1980=100).  Read the entire press release
