The Czech Republic are top of UEFA WOMEN'S EURO 2009™ qualifying Group 1 after Pavlína Ščasná's hat-trick inspired a convincing win in Belarus.

Czech comeback
Both these sides, like England and Spain, were on three points at kick-off, though Belarus have played two games rather than one. And they were unable to repeat this month's 5-0 defeat of Northern Ireland despite taking an fourth-minute lead. Alexandra Mouchová quickly equalised, Ščasná made it 2-1 on 34 minutes than struck either side of the hour mark, completing her treble with a penalty. The Czech Republic continue their campaign at home to Spain on 27 October when Belarus visit England.
