GENUSAURUS

Ceratosauria.
ERA: Early Cretaceous ( Albian 112.2 - 98.9 Ma ).
SIZE: Length 3 - 4m (7 - 10 ft). Hip height 1.5m (5 ft).
LOCATION: Europe.
FOSSILS: Ilium , proximal end of pubis , tibia and fibula ; femur , tarsal , sacral vertebra , dorsal centra .
COMMENTS: Genusaurus seems to be a small, derived ceratosaur with bird-like features of the pelvis and legs. It may even be an abelisaurid . It probably lived in a warm, humid forest environment.
SPECIES LIST:
G. sisteronis Accaire, Beaudoin, Dejax, Fries, Michard and Taquet, 1995 (type) .
