The Victoria Graduate School of Business manages all postgraduate programs in the Faculty of Business and Law. The school opened in January 2000 and has already attracted almost 4000 students enrolled across seven campuses in Australia and Asia.

Our programs cover all aspects of business administration from marketing and law to finance, information systems and international trade. In Melbourne, the Graduate School is located at VU's City Flinders campus, in the heart of the central business district where it offers state-of-the-art teaching and learning facilities.

Degrees offered by the graduate school include graduate certificates and postgraduate diplomas nested within the Master of Business Administration (MBA), a research-based Master of Business, a Doctorate of Business Administration (DBA) and a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) program.

We cater for students with at least two years’ work experience who want to upgrade their qualifications or take their career in a new direction. Working students benefit from night classes and part-time courses, while international students are assisted with industry placements for work-based projects.

Students learn from more than 150 academic staff, including a dedicated core staff. Our highly qualified and experienced staff members have taught at our overseas campuses and are attuned to the needs of a multicultural student body. Our approach ensures courses are consistent in their content and have rigorous standards, regardless of where students are enrolled. Each of our overseas campuses has national government approval.

The Victoria Graduate School of Business is a member of ANZAM: the Australian and New Zealand Academy of Management. We are currently expanding our links with overseas institutions to offer a greater range of opportunities for student exchanges.
