Ryan Kwanten
Ryan Christian Kwanten was born in Sydney, New South Wales, Australia. Current height is 5′ 10″ (1.78 m). He began acting on the television shows A Country Practice and Spellbinder.
Kwanten currently plays the role of Jason Stackhouse in True Blood, a television series based on Charlaine Harris’ Southern Vampire Mysteries. Season 2 of True Blood began airing in June 2009. Ryan Kwanten also made an appearance in a Law and Order: SVU episode that aired on December 2, 2008, in which he portrays US Marine Corps Master Sergeant Dominic Pruitt who is (falsely) accused of raping and murdering a fellow marine and murdering her unborn baby.
Ryan Kwanten has claimed that True Blood co-star Anna Paquin has had to shoot more nude scenes than him on the show this year. The 32-year-old, who plays Jason Stackhouse on the HBO vampire series, spoke out about filming the programme in an interview with GQ, Extra reports. He said: “I led the way in the sexual shenanigans department in the first (more)”.
